Wow Jay you must have read my thoughts. I would prefer the FG Fuse since I just finished a Meister 108" Zero "stick on stick" project that I started back in April 2003. I actually worked on it for 1 month back then and had the fuse and right wing finished along with the tail feathers but lost interest when I built 5 DF/ Turbine jets in between then and now. I restarted the Zero back in April and completed the build last week. So I guess it really took 3 months to build. The reason I said you read my mind is the Zero is powered by a GT-80 and I read that the GT-80 will also fit the Vailly FW-190 with no modification needed. I want the ease of a FG fuselage to speed the build process. I am in the process of retiring from the U.S Army and will soon have to "grow up and get another job" (its been a fun 27 years). When the traditional fall build season arrives I will be back in the work force in order to afford my toys (and kids, wife, mortgage, etc) so now is the time to use my "free time" wisely. Your FW-190 looks great BTW. I have read the RCSB Vailly FW-190 threads part of the way and plan on completely reading through several times before I start the.
